"Haven't you?" he practically purred in a sarcastic, mocking tone. "Oh, you poor thing." He smirked darkly and bared his fangs at her in a hiss, his eyes flashing with the color of his element.

"Suit yourself," Drake smirked, then released about twice the power he was already applying into a strong shock, keeping it constant. It would weaken her quickly. "Had enough?" he asked darkly.

Giving her one last hard shock, just because she'd been difficult with him, he honored her request and got up, stepping back. His mark glowed dark yellow, however, reminding her what she'd face if she tried to fight him again.

"Would you rather I have killed you?" Drake spat back, meeting her gaze, his own unflinching, his eyes narrowed and an angry expression on his face. Really, he'd hoped for a little bit more gratitude for the fact that she was still sitting here, alive, and not lying there on the floor, dead, without any means of coming back.

"Fine," he said, agreeing easily, he had created her after all, and your creator was supposed to teach you how not to be a nasty, snarling killing machine. He was teaching himself, however, because he honestly never wanted to see Jacklynn again. "By the way, I'm not ancient," he said with contempt. "I've been a vampire for about two or three days now, give or take." He flipped his hair, made a gesture with his hand that mean to follow, then took off at a quick run toward the front doors of the Academy.
