"Josh, it's freezing." The first snows of winter had fallen outside and Annabel glared at it through the full-length window that bordered the front door. Her brother seemed much less concerned as he tightened the laces of his heavy hiking boots (which he wore even during the summer) and placed his hand on the door. "See ya, Belle." She frowned at him and said in an almost perfect imitation of Patricia, "You'll catch your death out there, Josh." He laughed, for it was almost adorable to see his baby sister looking so stern as she folded her arms and set her jaw stubbornly. "Somehow it's a lot more impressive when Mum says it." This did nothing to clear her dour expression and he reached out a hand to playfully ruffle her hair like he did when they were kids, rolling his eyes. "I'll be fine, sis, relax. I'm taking the car." Even if he wasn't enlisting the aid of his Lamborghini, Joshua wouldn't feel the adverse effects of the cold. In an effort to remind Annabel of this, he swept a wave of heat through the front foyer that they were standing in. He wasn't going to bother putting on a coat, they were bulky and unnecessary when he was taking a trip to the mall, which was an indoor establishment of course and so wouldn't cause him to freeze to death. "I'll see you when I get back." He gave her a brief, one-armed hug and then went outside to start the car, blinking as the harsh sunlight glanced off the snow and nearly blinded him. Remind me again why wearing sunglasses in winter is a bad idea? He liked shades.
It was cold outside, he had to admit, and he allowed his natural body heat to adjust to the temperature as he walked to the car. Once inside it was blissful and warm, for it would be a little unfair for an expensive sports car to have a shitty heating system. He made it to the mall in good time thanks to the snowploughs having already cleared up the roads and he went inside the mall, stalling in the small area between the front doors and the actual inside. What's the point of this bit, anyway? I've always wondered. He allowed this thought to run rampant for a moment before he pulled out his phone and exhaled. Who should he call? He felt like company considering he planned on killing a few hours here after he exhausted his main purpose but he hadn't made specific plans with anyone. Scrolling through his contacts, his thumb rested on Gale's number and he shrugged to himself, sending a text. Yo, Gale. I'm hanging around the mall, come hang out if you want. I'll be in the food court. It was simply the easiest place to find in most malls and so he figured it was a safe area to wait. Pocketing his phone, he held open the door for a woman pushing a stroller and then slipped inside after her, having no need for the signs as he took the quickest route to the mall's centre. That was the good thing about living in an area all your life, he supposed. You learned the familiar haunts inside and out, it wasn't hard to make your way anywhere without directions.
He didn't get anything to eat, figuring he would wait for his friend before anything else. The food court was fairly busy as always but there were luckily still several empty tables remaining. He kept an eye out for Gale and then lifted his hand in greeting and also to let the Water elemental know where he was. "Hey, man, what's up?" It was definitely warmer inside the mall than it was outdoors and Joshua found himself glad of the fact that he hadn't even thought to don a sweater. He wondered how cold the air must have felt to someone without the natural heat that he had. He couldn't remember what it was like without it even though he'd been there once before he gained control over his powers and then, later, the heat itself. "Needed to grab a couple books for the new year and I figured I'd stick around a while afterwards." Hence why he'd invited his buddy along. It would have seemed pointless to drag him along only to pick up a pile of books that Josh had waiting for him. That would take minutes, seconds even. He just had to walk in, give his name, and pay. "Wanna grab some food first, or?" There was certainly a pretty big selection of stores. Taco Bell, Tim Hortons, KFC, Dairy Queen, New York Fries, a Chinese place, Pizza Pizza, a salad bar and a few others. Josh was definitely planning on indulging in the Dairy Queen but he needed real food, first. Maybe I'll get some fries, he thought, eyeing the storefront thoughtfully as he waited for an answer.

Snow. Not something Gale really liked. You would think it would the opposite for a water student, but no. He didn't like it. Well, more like he had a grudge against it, because it usually would freeze the lake. He would rather swim than ice skate any day. He liked to look at snow. A dusting of snow made just about everything look better. It made barren tree's look mysterious and beautiful. At least, that was the way he looked at it. He was used to seeing snow, having been here most of his life. Although, it also meant it was cold when it snowed. That was not something he enjoyed a whole lot. It made him sometimes wish he was a fire, just so he didn't have to be cold. Though he wondered to himself if they overheated in the summer time. He didn't talk to many fires - except Josh. And that was only an occasional thing. He made a mental note to ask Josh next time he talked to him.
And then, as if on Cue, while Gale was sitting there on the coach flipping through television channels, his phone vibrated. He pulled his phone out and looked at it. Speak of the devil. He thought to himself as he read the text. Sounds cool, be there soon. He replied as he pushed himself off the couch. Hanging out would be fun, unfortunately for him, he would have to ride his bike there. He bundled up, putting on a fairly thick jacket. It wasn't a very long bike ride, so he figured if he just went fast, it would be over with soon. "Hey mom? I'm going to meet a friend at the mall. I'll be back later." He called to her, since she was in the kitchen. "Okay hon, but if your not going to be back for dinner, let me know!" She called back, as he heard a dish clank. "Will do. Bye mom!" He said as he made his way out the door, shutting it behind him.
The winter air was nippy, and it felt like the skin on his face was stinging. He had recently gotten his hair cut shorter, so he didn't have the benefit of his hair covering his forehead anymore. Though he wasn't one to complain, he wouldn't let it bother him. The bike ride took about ten minutes, and he locked the bike up on the rack, before walking inside. He could see his breath, and he rubbed his arms with his hands before walking into the mall. It was much warmer, and the immediate relief washed over him. The warmth felt so nice. Nobody was probably as relieved as him since well, he had just ridden his bike all the way to the mall. As he walked towards the foot court, he caught site of Josh waving, and smiled and waved back at him. "Hey, not too much." He replied, with a slight laugh. "Sounds fun. You saved me from my bordom. SO thank you for that." He really hadn't been doing anything but well, nothing. "Yeah bro, food sounds great." He said, nodding. His hands where in the pockets of his jacket as he looked at the food court. "Everything sounds good... where should we go?" He said, glancing back at Josh, raising an eyebrow.

Though Joshua was a solitary person by nature and thus enjoyed being by himself, he also liked the company of his friends. He was loyal to a fault and he would do anything for the people he cared most about so why would he complain about their presence? Gale wasn't one of his best and closest friends, no, nothing like Lark or Ace, Teddy or Nell, Devin, but he was a pretty good friend. Joshua took a long time to elevate someone from the status of a mere acquaintance to a friend in his mind but it could move from new friend to good friend pretty quickly. He took so long to trust someone that it was pretty difficult to lose that trust when you reached the end of the road. So he considered Gale a pretty good buddy, good company, and the thought of having him around for a couple hours when they messed about the mall was not a negative one. "Always happy to drag you from the depths of ennui, y'know?" He chuckled and took a mocking bow. Really, though, he was glad he could help Gale out in the boredom department. Joshua went mental if he couldn't find something to occupy himself. Boredom was practically the bane of his existence. If he was not moving around then he had to be sitting still and doing something at least. He couldn't veg in front of the TV for hours, it didn't feel right to him. Reading was fine since he mostly read non-fiction and learned things as a result.
Noting Gale's thick jacket, he said, "What'd you do, walk here? It's cold as fuck outside." Fuck being sub-zero temperatures or something along those lines. Fuck was pretty cold. Deeper than being cold as hell or cold as balls, it was Arctic temperature and the ice age. It was also an exaggeration, of course. They shared a dislike for the cold and so he figured Gale would appreciate the dramatics. It sucked that Canadian winter had to be so long, though, because that meant putting up with the frigid hells of winter for months. Why couldn't spring be longer? His favourite season and it was arguably the shortest of the four. Pushing thoughts of the asshole weather aside, he turned his attention to the prospect of getting food. Food was awesome. Who didn't like food? Joshua might not have been as passionate about it as some but he didn't think there was many people in the world who didn't enjoy eating. It was like the human body was designed to love the sustenance that it needed. Convenient, really, since you needed to eat to live. You needed a lot of things to stay healthy and he watched his diet pretty carefully. Still, he loved to splurge on take out every once and a while. "You know your stomach better than I do, man. I'm getting some fries. Fucking love their fries." He gestured to New York Fries when he spoke, indicating. Potatoes were Josh's favourite vegetable so it made sense that he liked French fries more than most fast foods.
"Sucks this place doesn't have a Wendy's," he said conversationally and almost longingly as he glanced around as if expecting the Wendy's he knew not to exist would just pop into place somewhere in the centre of the tables. Only in his dreams. "Now their fries are awesome. I think it's the sea salt." He liked sea salt and so, in turn, fries with sea salt on them tasted the best. Nevertheless, he'd deal. He got himself a large fries and sat down at one of the tables to wait for Gale while his friend went and got whatever he wanted from one of the stores. Once they were both settled, Joshua happily gorging on his meal, he cast around for subjects of conversation. He thought of the girl Gale had affections for and wondered how that was going. He simultaneously decided to avoid the subject. Sometimes love was a rocky road. He wouldn't know, really, but he'd seen other people fight about it enough to play it safe. "Dude, you're going to need to restrain me once we get to the book store," he pointed out, laughing. He had made sure to swallow before speaking of course. Always with his manners. "I can't promise you I won't try and spend hours looking at things and walk out with half their stock in tow." Books were his weakness, especially since he was loaded. Speaking of which... "Did you bring any cash?" Josh didn't mind treating his friends or anything (being rich had advantages) but he wondered if Gale had brought his own funds.

Gale was the type of guy to try to be friends with absolutley everybody. Well, at least people of his alliance anyways. As the leader, he was very into his alliances. Even though Josh was a fire, he was a cool guy. And the fact he had switched alliances made that so much easier. He was sure he could have a fiery temper, as the fires where known for. He couldn't deny his blood traits. It was bred into him. At Josh's question, Gale laughed and nodded a bit, before taking the jacket off. "Close, man. I rode my bike." He shook his head a little bit. "If I had my license things would be so much easier." It was his own fault he didn't have it. He had practiced driving, of course, but just hadn't taken the time to go get his license. He was sure he could pass the written test, but probably not the driving test. Not just yet, anyways. He made a mental note to get it soon. Life would be so much easier if that happened sooner rather than later.
"Hmm..." He mused aloud, tapping his chin thoughtfully. "I'm going for a hamburger. It's my weakness. Fast food, anyways." He laughed a little. It was true. He was certainly not the most healthy eater, but hey, who was? Of course some people where. It wasn't like everybody ate unhealthy. He was more than thankful for his fast metabolism, because it kept his figure thin, and he didn't look like he ate a lot of fast food. That was always a plus. "I completely agree about the sea salt. It just makes everything better." He nodded a little bit, and walked up to one of the food courts, and ordered a hamburger with fries. He was like a bottomless pit, and could pretty much eat forever. He was a teenage boy, what teenage boy could stop eating? He was pretty sure the answer was none.
He went and sat across from Josh, placing the tray in front of him. He popped a fry in his mouth before looking up as Josh spoke to him. He laughed, after swallowing of course, and brushed his hand back through his hair - which was starting to get long and shaggy again. "Alright man. If I have to drag you out of there using extreme force, I shall." He said, nodding, trying to act serious. There was no way he could drag josh out. He was rather small compared to him, and Gale using any type of force was just about unheard of. At least, not usually anyways. He wasn't really the "me angry - go hulk" type of guy. Most waters weren't. There where some with tempers, but those where usually reserved for those on the other side of the alliances. He continued eating, before swalling and clearing his throat. "Of course man. Who comes to the mall without money?" He smirked a little bit. Not many people, anyways. But his family was decently wealthy. He wasn't yet making his own money, but he got money from his parents on a fairly regular basis. He hoped to get a job, soon.

Joshua made a face at the thought of a bike ride, cold wind biting your cheeks and snow hindering your progress. It didn't sound like a very fun time at all. "You need to learn how to drive, bro," he advised him, shaking his head and seeming more amused than sympathetic. His friends knew he didn't mean anything by the comments that he made and so he didn't bother to add a 'no offence' for good measure. If Gale got offended that was his problem but a boy who insulted himself seemed an unlikely candidate for being hurt by anything Josh said. "Could have asked for a lift. I took the car." Ah, his Aventador, his pride and joy. He loved driving around town in it, observing all the normal cars and knowing that he had something special. It had been a gift from Donovan as well and that made it unique in its own right. Anything the man gave him meant something. At first glance a flashy, expensive car seemed more like material compensation than a thoughtful gift but Josh had been more than a little obsessed with the idea of the Lamborghini Aventador when it'd first been released. He wasn't your typical car enthusiast with a knowledge of how they worked inside and out but he liked sports cars and this one's design had captured his attention. Now he owned it. "Will your parents hook you up once you get your license or are you gonna need a job for that?" Some parents were merciful, others forcefully ejected their children from the nest. He wondered what sort Gale's parents were.
The Fire graduate shrugged. "I'm not too big on fast food but it's alright every once and a while." He was used to fancy dinners and well-prepared meals, which really tasted a lot better than the grease-filled wonders of a fast food joint. In his opinion, anyway. However, Josh wasn't so closed-off to the idea of fast food that he never ate it. He wouldn't be here if that was the case. The sea salted fries really were brilliant and French fries in general tended to be a safe bet. He liked potatoes, okay? "Might be the whole veggie thing, I dunno." The fact that he was vegetarian tended to affect things. He couldn't relate to people that said a place had brilliant seafood or steak or hamburgers because Joshua didn't eat any of that. Finding poutine with a nice neutral gravy could sometimes be a pain if it was served in restaurants and they used beef or chicken based gravy. Mushroom gravy was alright because there was nothing meat to interrupt his vegetarian vibe. It was always amusing when he went out to eat with Nell and she ordered half the restaurant while he stuck with a couple of meatless courses. Wasn't it usually the other way around? Joshua didn't mind at all. He did eat a lot, though, because being six foot three and active tended to contribute to a need for sustenance.
He snickered when Gale said he'd drag him from the book store, trying to imagine what that might look like. The more he thought about it the funnier it got and the sniggering progressed into a brief laugh before he shook his head and regained composure. "That was hilarious. Just the thought..." He sighed in his throat and cut himself off there, popping a couple fries into his mouth now that he felt confident he could eat without laughing and choking himself up. He shrugged at the question. "Some people, I dunno." Groups of friends that went to the mall occasionally had a single member or sometimes two that didn't bring cash and just went along for the ride. He didn't understand the point of coming to a mall just to watch your friends buy stuff when you weren't able to but that was fine by him. He always had the money and so he didn't let it concern him. "Where to first? Anything you need to get?" Josh had invited Gale along but maybe the Water had something specific in mind.

Gale did know somewhat how to drive. It just wasn't legal. He shrugged a little as Josh's comment. "Yeah I know. I'm just a wee bit behind." He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. It was true, he was. He needed and wanted his license, and he planned to have it sometime really soon. At least he really hoped to have it sometime really soon. "Well, if you where already here, I wouldn't want you to drive allllll the way back and get me." He said, shrugging again. "It's really not a big deal. Won't hurt me to work some of this off anyways." He said, smirking as he patted his stomach. Heaven knew he really didn't have anything to work off. He was actually very scrawny.
When it came to a car, he was pretty sure his parents where going to merciful. They were not rich by any means, but it was only him and his mom. They had enough money to spare. Esspecially since his fathers death, a lot of money had gone into a savings account for him to have after he graduated high school. Enough money for him to take care of himself for quite a while. He wasn't sure exactly how much, nobody was, so he didn't think on it too much. "Pretty sure my mom will hook me up. Don't think she will expect me to "drive" my bike around forever." He laughed a little bit and shrugged. "I'm sorta looking for a job anyways, though. So if you hear anything... hit me up." He said, smiling a little. He wanted a job, mostly to help support his mother. In more recent years she was sort of... not wanting so much to work. She had been a nurse, but had been taking a lot of time off lately. In fact, Gale wasn't sure if she was even still working. She left every day and said she was going to work, but he still couldn't be too sure. He wasn't so sure of anything anymore.
Gale raised an eyebrow and shook his head. "Man, this sounds bad, but I could live off fast food. I'm hoping my metabolism doesn't deside to just, slow up one day. Or I'm screwed." And it was true, with the amount of food he ate, he could easily be three hundred pounds. He swam, but that was about it. He didn't run, and was not really that active except for going swimming when the weather was somewhat decent. He prefered to pretty much just sit around and do nothing. Well, and play guitar, but that didn't take a lot of muscle. He laughed along with Josh for a moment, before taking off his thicker jacket, and only wearing a thin sweatshirt underneath. He held his arm up and flexed his arm, before poking at the muscle on his bicep. "Hey bro, don't judge. I could take down anybody with these muscles." He puffed out his chest a little bit dramatically. "Welcome to the gun show." He said, flexing both of his arms, he had to drop them though when he started laughing and shook his head. He finished off his meal, before glancing back at Josh as he spoke. "Nah, no idea really. We can hit anywhere. As long as you don't plan on dragging me into any lingerie stores or anything." He smirked, and waggled his eyebrow at Josh, before winking. He was obviously joking. The Water was just in a joking mood today.

Josh was neither lazy nor particularly concerned about the cost of gas and so he scoffed in amusement at Gale's words. "All the way? It's not that far, you don't live in fucking Antarctica or anything." He'd chosen Antarctica at random. He could have went with any other place but hell, it had popped into his head and so he'd used it for his purposes. He didn't understand why Gale would opt to ride a bike in the freezing cold weather as opposed to asking for a lift. Not that he tried very hard to. Joshua was selfish in the tamer sense. He had compassion but he often didn't realise that not everyone viewed things the same way that he did. It still wasn't the best trait in the world but he wasn't extremely self-absorbed or narcissistic, at least. "Yeah because you of all people need to work out, clearly." He raised an eyebrow but let it drop there. No use going back and forth for ages. Gale was here now and that was all that mattered, right? Now the two of them would be able to wreak havoc in the mall and get their shopping done. Or at least the latter. Josh wasn't too big on malls but he had to admit that they were extremely convenient. You got your shopping done in one area and then you could wander around for the rest of the day and see what else they had. Good for entertainment, bad for your bank account. Joshua's poor bank account didn't stand a chance. He wasn't wasteful but he had a taste for expensive things.
It was nice having parents that did things for you. Convenient. His father had gotten him his precious Lamborghini as a birthday gift. A gift with a price tag of over three hundred thousand dollars but it was by far his favourite of all the presents he'd ever gotten. Again, Josh had a taste for what was flashy and expensive. The mansion he lived in was as fancy as the car but it hadn't been a gift for anything in particular. His parents had just decided that, hey, they'd give it to him now that they were done raising their kids and didn't need quite so much space. Worked for Josh. "That's something at least. And you don't drive bikes, Gale," he laughed. "I think the technical term is riding." Considering his friend had told him that he'd rode his bike to the mall he knew that the Water was well aware of this. Josh simply enjoyed teasing his friends. He'd relaxed a lot over the past couple years and it was easier for him to jest with his buddies now that he knew he didn't have to keep an extremely large distance from everyone. "Dude, I'm off the market. I don't keep up with who's hiring. I doubt you've got the credentials to work where I do unless you were the janitor or something." The retirement home had gone over his history of volunteering and contacted his supervisors at the hospital to consider him extensively before they'd actually hired him. The job wasn't even that hard, they just wanted to make sure they hired people who wouldn't make stupid mistakes.
Living off fast food did not sound like a good plan to Joshua. A lot of it was incredibly greasy and unhealthy and since he was so conscious of his health he just couldn't bring himself to consider it. Shaking his head, he said, "Forget your metabolism, your poor arteries are probably crying." He was mostly joking since people their age didn't usually have to worry quite so much about certain health risks but it was true that large amounts of fast food had eventual effects on the human body. If it was that concerning to Josh, though, he wouldn't touch fast food. In moderation he knew he'd be fine. Joshua flexed his arm when Gale did, his own muscle evident. He wasn't thickset and beefy, wasn't a bodybuilder, but he played a lot of tennis and worked out to keep himself toned and his strength up. "Gale, I will go into the lingerie store if I want to," he said, huffing. "I look super sexy in lace and you are not going to take that from me." He sounded so serious that it might have been believable if this weren't Josh, one of the least feminine guys on the planet. He might have been a guy but he was also a jokester, hence the... well, joking around. He led the way into the bookstore that he needed to visit but there was a line and so he wandered over to one of the shelves and picked up a book, reading the back cover. "You read a whole lot? Bookworm and all?" He didn't look at Gale, still focused on the book, but he was curious.

Gale hated using people for well, anything. He preferred to do anything on his own, or help other people out. He always felt needy when people offered to do things for him and he hated that feeling. "Well, yeah. But it wasn't that far. It's really no big deal." He shrugged a little and brushed it off. It really was not a big deal. Walking, running, or riding his bike wasn't something major. Plus, he hoped to have his license before too long so he wouldn't have to rely on people for anything. License meant freedom, he was just too lazy to go down and get it. "Oh of course I do. I'm fat." He said, smirking a little and patting his stomach again. He knew he wasn't, but he was confident enough to joke and put himself down and not really mean it. Gale blinked a few times at Josh's next comment, before a sheepish smile crossed his face. "Well maybe you don't drive bikes. But I do what I want." He said, smiling a little more confidently now. He was the type of person who could make the biggest fuck up in the world and laugh at it.
Gale was not totally desperate for a job. However, he did think that the sooner he got one, the sooner he got his freedom. The whole paying his own insurance thing was going to be hell. However, getting a job would probably be much easier if he did have a car and a license. It was like a vicious circle that nobody really liked. "Hey I wouldn't mind being a janitor, man. I've been told I'm pretty wonderful with a broom." He chuckled a little bit and brushed his fingers through his hair. It was a joke, obviously, but still funny nonetheless. Fast food, however much he liked it, he wouldn't want to work around it all the time. He was pretty sure he would probably eat it all the time and get fat for reals. "Hey, my arteries are just sensitive. But I am sure they are fine." He said, placing his hand over his heart for a moment, He really hadn'y thought about that part of the unhealthy eating. Gale tried to keep a straight face at Josh's comment, before sarcastically placing a hang on his hip and shaking his head. "Fiiine. I just wish you would have warned me. I didn't even shave my legs." He laughed, his eyes lighting up. Having fun with friends was always the best thing in the world, to him anyways. Gale shoved his hands in his pockets and walked into the book store also, glancing at the spines of them as Josh looked at one. "I like to read sometimes. Truthfully, I mostly read non fiction but hey. Somebodies got to right?" He shrugged and pulled a book off the shelf, glancing at it while waiting for the line to go down.

Joshua scoffed in amusement. 'I do what I want' was a pretty valid excuse for everything as far as he was concerned and that was good enough for him. He used it quite a bit. "Yeah, man, dare to be different." He held out his hand so that Gale could high five him or something for shits and giggles. "You can dance around like in those Swiffer commercials." He might not have watched a lot of television but whenever you watched one program you got several different commercials during its run and so he saw his fair share of them when he was watching the news. Joshua watched the local news to keep up with what was going on in Maple Hollow and then he watched the larger news stations so that he knew the happenings of the world. Josh didn't want to be the last one to know when Canada was going to get annihilated or anything like that. It was always weird watching the local programs during MP election times because his mother was on television and it made him laugh. He'd grown up with the woman, after all. "Or are those brooms? Mops, maybe?" Whatever, Gale could still dance with them. Because he was worth it, or so the L'Oreal commercials probably let him know. Okay, he needed to stop thinking about commercials before he started making a bunch of cheesy references to them. He was in a good mood and good moods plus friends were dangerous for his sense of humour. At least he hadn't made a slew of sex jokes quite yet. Only a matter of time. Josh was often the king of inappropriate humour.
The idea of having sensitive arteries was pretty hilarious. Josh liked being around Gale because the other boy was funny and it was rather easy to relax around him. A lot of people took Joshua far too seriously and refused to relax around him but Gale just acted like himself and that was refreshing. And hysterical. "I'm sure you'll still look fabulous," he shot back, then cracked up. He could usually keep a perfectly straight face when he was kidding around but he lost his composure when looking at Gale standing with his hand on his hip. "I think you could pull off being a flamboyant gay man with ease, Gale. Except you'd need to start shaving." He patted his friends shoulder in mock sympathy as if this was a serious ambition of his friend's and he was trying to play the role of the support buddy. He wondered if Gale felt uncomfortable with making jokes about his sexuality. Josh was so confident in his own that it didn't phase him in the least but not all people were similar. Oh well, the deed had been done. If Gale was chill with discussing lingerie with a straight face he probably didn't have anything to worry about. "You too, huh? I'm not into fiction much." He had read some of the classic series like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings for the sake of keeping up with common knowledge topics but for the most part he enjoyed a more serious read. "I've got a pretty big collection at home in my library." Dork level to the extreme. He liked his personal library, his collection of great books. He was very well-read.

Gale smirked a little and nodded. "I'm always different, bro. Down with conformity!" He said, dramatically laughing, before high fiving Josh. He was too lame to think of anything cooler to do other than a high five. He laughed a little bit at Josh's next comment. " Right, I am a fantastic dancer anyways. They would just see me on that commercial and people would flock to buy that shit." Yeah, Gale was cocky most of the time. He didn't really think he was the coolest person in the world, he just liked to act like he was sometimes. Gale did know the exact commercials his friend was talking about though, because Gale was lazy most of the time, and quite frankly he watched quite a lot of T.V. He was active a lot also, well, when he wanted to be. Riding his bike to the mall counted as active right? " Well, whatever they are, I make them look sexy." He shrugged, as if it was just the most known fact in the world.
Gale really did eat enough fast food to probably make a doctor squimish. Josh may not have been a doctor, but someday he would be. Gale wasn't sure what he was going to specialize in, but the image of him suffering a heart attack from all the fast food he ate, and having Josh as his doctor - briefly flashed through his mind. Although, that thought also made him second guess all the fast food. Maybe it was time to man up and eat more vegetables. "Man I always look fabulous." Gale said, trying to flip his hair, which wasn't quite long enough to make any kind of difference. Gale couldn't help but laugh also when Josh started laughing. It was almost nice to see him laughing, since his sense of humor tended to be fairly straight faced. "You aren't the first person to tell me that." Gale said, laughing a little bit. "Unfortunatly, I don't like anybodies dick winking at me but my own." He just shrugged and managed to keep a straight face. Gale was confident in his sexuality, and he and everybody else that knew him knew that he was gay. However, strangers didn't, and he found that funny when people gave him funny looks. He was still grabbing random books and flipping through them before glancing over at Josh. "I would love to have my own library, man. Instead I have well... not a library." He chuckled a little at himself as he grabbed another book off the shelf with a picture of a duck on the front. He flipped to a random page, and started scanning some words, before raising an eyebrow and glancing over at Josh. "Did you know duck's dicks fall off after mating season?" His eyes dropped back to the book, before closing it and shaking his head. "That would really suck to be a duck."
