This was how it was every weekened. Occasionally it happened on school nights, but that was a little rarer. Most people were not stupid enough to get hung over before school. Even Karlee wasn't that desperate for alcohol. It was one of things that drew you to these parties. Booze and sex was the only reason she went. And the dancing. This one, however, was a little bit lower scale. There was a lot of people, yes, but many of them where non elementals. In fact, it was being hosted by a boy who was a non elemental. Karlee had been invited by him when she met him in town, after a bit of careful flirting he had given her the address and time of the party. She was sure there was going to be some people from the school she knew - hell, many people came to parties they where not even invited to. That's how these kinds of parties worked. She couldn't even remember the boys name. But as she drove to the address, she assessed his house as a run down one. He lived in a middle class neighborhood, so that said something, but it was definitely one of the more run down houses.
Junk littered the yard, and she got the feeling there was a lot of parties held at this house. Maybe this will be a regular thing. She mused to herself. She wouldn't make a bet on that, as high school parties tended to be pretty lame. She would much rather go to a college party. The booze was always better and - as long as you didn't fall into the pool - tended to be a lot better. Older guy's where usually hotter, too, but when Karlee got extremely wasted that didn't even matter to her anymore. Much that she wouldn't want to admit it, she would flirt with just about anybody - male or other wise. She was straight, but you wouldn't necessarily guess that once she was drunk.
She parked her car out in front of the house, making sure to lock it, and reminding herself not to drink too much tonight. She was responsible for the most part, and if she was going to have to drive she didn't want to drink too much. Esspecially because of the fact that she didn't have her license, she had been driving illegally since she was fifteen. Despite the fact that she usually drove too fast, she hadn't gotten pulled over. She had a fake ID which she thought would get her by, but then of course, getting caught with the Fake ID and not having a real license would get her in a hell of a lot more trouble than just driving without a license. She locked her purse in the car also, because she didn't trust people at parties. Hell, she didn't even trust herself when she got drunk, how would she trust other people? She was told thier would be lots of alcohol, but at a party like this she guessed there would only be beer. Beer didn't really get her drunk anymore - at least, it took a lot of it. Usually to the point of feeling sick before that feeling came along.
The door was open when she approached it, and the immediate scent of stale beer filled the air. She knew there had to be some better stuff, and she didn't see the guy that had invited her. Knowing he was the host - at least she thought so - he probably invited fifty other girls, so the presence of one wasn't going to be too terribly exciting. "Well... this is fun." She mused aloud, rolling her eyes, and letting out a quiet sigh. She let her eyes scan the crowd, there seeming to almost be a mosh pit in the living room. People where dancing and the music was booming so loudly the floor seemed to be vibrating. Karlee hadn't dressed as revealing as she usually did for this things, setting for a pair of jeans with large rips in them all the way up the knee's and thighs, and her hair was straightened as it usually was. She rarely took the time to do anything else with it. Her eye make up was worn quite heavily as she usually did - but she was so used to herself with her make up like that, she couldn't go without anymore without feeling weird. She made her way through the crowd, greeting a few people who seemed to know her - none of which she recognized. One called her by name, and she didn't recognize the boy, but thought it must have been from school. She grabbed a cold beer - surprised they had been in bottles instead of cans - and popped it open. The bitter liquid soothed her throat, and she made her way back out towards the crowd. She leaned against the wall for a moment, while scanning the crowd. Should at least find a dance partner for the night.

The music was loud. Incredibly loud. People were squeezed into a small space the size of a sardine can, but most of them could have cared less. Their bodies were close, skin against skin and completely unaware of what their movements did to their dance partners--or were they? No one even knew. Devin was not even sure why he was here, or how he was even convinced, but he was at the party none the less. No, I know why I'm here. Although he tended to hesitate going to the parties, it was because he felt guilty. So incredibly guilty. There was no rhyme or reason for the feeling, but it was there, as though Autumn could somehow see him standing here staring at the hot girls dotting the room. It shouldn't matter anymore, because they were done. This was the life he lived before, and that was how it needed to be. It was a safety net of sorts, and way to leave the heartbreak behind and begin the mending process. Slowly but surely his heart was finding its way back to normal, but on occasion that nag of guilt or betrayal sneaked its way in. Devin shook his head. Fuck that. I need this. And so, once he had already downed two or three bottles of beer, he took to dancing for a little while.
"Hey DJ!" Just as Devin was getting into the heat of the moment with some random girl in the middle of the living room, someone disrupted him. The blonde turned his attention to his friend and smiled, leaving the girl to dance by herself. She was far enough gone that she probably would not have even taken notice of his absence. "What's up Ty?" The boy lifted an eyebrow, surveying his friend. Tyler gestured to the kitchen. "We got a few more cases of beer, and a little hard liquor. Wanna help us put it on ice?" Devin, being the accommodating friend that he was, shrugged his shoulders in agreement and followed Tyler into the kitchen to help him stick the bottles into the fridge and a few of the bottles of vodka and tequila into the freezer. That was the quickest way to get them cold. He and Tyler chatted for a few minutes back and forth as they did so, Devin taking himself another beer from the fridge after their job was done. "Thanks Dev. You go have fun. We'll catch up later." The Earth elemental nodded to his friend. "No problem, man." Carrying his beer back into the other room, the music had changed, but the dancers had not. A smirk twitched on his lips, clearly amused by how drunk some of these people already were. The party started rather early since it was the weekend, and the heavy drinkers seemed interested in drowning out before it got too late.
Wanting to let the alcohol take more effect before stepping foot on the dance floor, Devin walked over to the nearest wall and leaned up against it, watching his friends and acquaintances rub all over one another. It was like sex with your clothes on. However, his gaze soon became transfixed on a rather beautiful girl wandering through the crowd and over to where he stood, also leaning against the wall. He smirked and glanced over at her. "You look bored," Devin pointed out, lifting his chin a little as he assessed the girl. She did not look familiar, which was even better. It was never good to find interest in someone at these parties that you knew, at least for someone interested in a sort of hit-it and quit-it deal. And Devin found himself interested, at least physically. That pang of guilt stung at his heart again, but shoved it away as he rolled himself over and leaned against his arm as he looked Karlee over with a raised eyebrow. "Maybe I could offer up some source of entertainment?" Devin glanced out at the group of dancers. "I don't think it could hurt much." He was determined to wash Autumn away completely, and this was how he dealt with it best. Alcohol and girls. Had he not been on the party scene before his girlfriend, this might not have even crossed his mind, but as it was this was his life before and he was determined to get it back. To find the easy way. The painless way.

Karlee was bored already. The more alcohol she took in the less bored she would be. She always got different when she was drinking. She would pretty much hang all over anybody was around. She wasn't ashamed of it. That was why people drank, right? So they wouldn't remember anything in the morning. The pain and suffering you went through everyday would disappear. It was the reason most people drank, she thought. She hated the taste of beer, and it would take a lot of beer to get her drunk, but she would drink until she blacked out. That was how she preferred things. Get drunk and do stupid things. She hadn't found anything that gave her quite the same feeling as meaningless sex and drinking. Though she regretted much of what she did afterwords, she didn't let it bother her.
Karlee sighed, watching the people dance in front of her. One hand was playing with her hair, the other clutching the cold beer, which she finished off in a couple more swigs. It was bitter, and actually tasted awful. Her small stature made it easier for her to get drunk faster, and was already feeling slightly buzzed. Though buzzed usually just made her irritable, not giggly and flirty like she usually got. She tossed the bottle into the garbage, and grabbed another beer, before taking her place back on the wall. She popped the top off and a hiss rose from the bottle, along with the little bit of steam that came from the freshly opened bottle.
She hadn't even noticed the boy standing there, until he spoke to her. She turned her gaze over towards him and assessed him for a moment. He didn't look faintly familiar. That was good at these types of things though. She smirked at him a little. "I am." She replied, before tipping the bottle up and taking a drink of the bitter liquid. This one was colder than the last, and it made the taste even worse. She had gotten used to it, so she didn't even notice the taste anymore. She kept her eyes on him as he turned more towards her. She too, turned towards him a little bit more, raising an eyebrow as he spoke. "Oh yeah?" She turned her gaze towards the crowd, before looking back at him with a smirk. What kind of entertainment are you suggesting?" She was really up for anything, but she figured he meant dancing, or sex, but most guy's weren't that forward about it.

"Aw, well being bored isn't any fun," Devin pointed out, smirking back at her. His bright blue eyes scanned her face for a long moment, taking in her features. "Why are you here if you're not enjoying yourself?" He found it amusing that someone would show up to a party and have no interest in it what-so-ever. Wasn't the whole point of coming to these things to get trashed and dance with random people and--in his case--find himself a girl to screw for the night? Leaning against the wall, sipping a beer and not taking any action to remove the boredom was not really something Devin expected. This girl was hot. Why was she standing here when there were plenty of open spaces to dance and have fun? He didn't get it. At her question, Devin lifted a finger to signal her to wait. He passed by her and went to the kitchen, grabbing the bottle of hard liquor out of the freezer. It was not very cold yet, but why worry about that? Alcohol was alcohol. Devin snagged two shot glasses from the counter and topped them both off, carrying them back into the living room and handing her one. "Here, try this. It might help you out a little bit." He suggested with a quirked half smile.
It was always a bad idea to down beer before liquor, but they did not exactly have that option before Tyler came home with the good stuff. Devin finished off the shot with a quick toss of the head, allowing the burning sensation to run down his throat. It was strong and pure, the way he liked it. Beer was decent for spending time with friends and playing video games or a round of cards, but if you were out to get drunk beer was not the way to go. It simply did not work fast enough to give any of the good effects alcohol was supposed to give. Well, it did, but it took forever, especially if you had a higher tolerance. "So, the name's Devin," The blonde finally introduced himself, leaving only his first name in the air for the sake of anonymity. Having no name sucked during sex too; what else were they going to cry out when you really got things going? 'Oh, stranger!' did not sound like much of a turn on. "What's yours? And...can I drag you out onto the dance floor after a few more shots?" The boy quirked his eyebrow and smirked at her. He went to the kitchen and grabbed the entire bottle, bringing it back into the room with him. "Let's do this the right way, hm? I wanna help you with your boredom problem."

Karlee didn't like to be the life of the party at these things. She wasn't too terribly social when she was sober. The more she drank, the more she usually mingled. It wasn't hard to do when you where her. She drank to get rid of her problems, and it made her more social. When you didn't have any problems on your mind, it made it easier to be friendly. She was a flirt all the time, but she was drunk, she would usually hang off anybody who was around. Though the last big party she went too, she got a little too wasted and ended up falling into the pool. That wasn't something she really enjoyed, seeings how she hated water. And she couldn't swim. If the guy who rescued her hadn't done so, nobody probably would have noticed her.
She couldn't remember the boys name, but it racked her brains. Getting drunk certainly didn't help when it came to remembering peoples names. "Well, I did just get here. I just haven't found anybody interesting enough yet to enjoy myself with." She smirked at him a little, raising an eyebrow. It wasn't really a question, more of an invitation. She figured he would get the hint. When he walked away, she watched him for a minute, before turning her attention back out towards the crowd. She thought that pretty soon she would wander out and dance, and had a feeling this guy would dance with her. Karlee was confident in her skills with guys, and could be pretty seductive when she wanted to be. Though if you found a guy desperate enough, they would fuck anything.
When he returned with the shots, a large smile spread across Karlee's face. "Perfect." She chimed, taking the shot from him. Beer was alright, but it was too slow. This was the stuff you needed if you wanted a good time faster. She put her head back and downed the shot rather quickly, and wasn't shy about it. She could put away more liquor than most guys twice her size. Not without consequences, of course, but she could still do it. What was the saying? Beer before liquor ; never been sicker. Liquor before beer ; your in the clear. It was the truth, too, Karlee knew that much. Though by the point she would have cared, she was too far wasted to even notice.
Karlee knew that there where always a lot of desperate guys - and girls - at these parties. While Karlee hadn't been looking to get totally wasted tonight, she decided that was probably not going to happen. When the shot glasses got broke out it became hard for her to say no to it. "Karlee." She replied simply, with a small smirk. "I don't see why not. But you don't have to get me wasted before I'll dance with you." Her smirk got a little bigger as he went away and returned with the bottle. "But it can't hurt." Since he had the bottle, Karlee waited for him to pour the shot into her glass, before putting her head back again and downing it. It burned its way down her throat, and she liked it. She ran her fingers through her hair before setting the shotglass down and smiling up at him. "So? Do you wanna dance or not?"

Devin smirked at her comment, somewhat taking up her hint. Girls like her tried to be subtle, to lure guys in without directly saying 'want to fuck me?' or 'wanna go make out?'. Not that Karlee was insinuating that right now, but her attitude reflected what he had seen so many times before at past parties. Devin had been through enough girls to somewhat have a certain view on the ones he met up with, and hooked up with. This was the first party he had been to since walking away from Autumn, so he did feel a bit rusty and hoped that there would be some sort of reward in the end. "Oh? Well, good thing I approached you first then," Devin replied with a raised eyebrow to match hers. Flirting with women was one of the things he was confident in, besides his intelligence. "So I can hopefully prove myself interesting enough for the night." The comment was a bit broad in meaning, more or less directing it towards the dancing first than what normally happened after. If Devin did not find himself sexually attracted to a girl he was not going to pursue past a dance, so he figured it best to play it all by ear. Karlee was a very attractive girl, but if she did not get him riled up on the dance floor then he could only question the moves in the bedroom.
When the liquor and shot glasses had finally been brought out, Devin was starting to feel more in his element. Downing a few shots was always a good way to start the evening, even if he did not get completely shit-faced and pass out later. It kept him loose and he liked the feeling it gave him. A bright smile crossed his boyish face as she finished off her drink in one quick motion. At least Karlee seemed interested in the alcohol, which was beneficial for him too. It meant he had someone to take a few shots with and then hopefully drag to the dance floor. "Nice to meet you Karlee," He replied, "And that was definitely not my intention." It actually wasn't; Devin was merely using the alcohol as a means of conversation. It was amazing how quickly people fell into a sense of security after a little of the burning liquid, making small talk smoother. Then, when you lost all sense of self, you simply did not feel ashamed of any further actions. Feeling that she might be interested in joining him for a round or two, he was not hesitant to bring the bottle back into the room. Devin took one or two more before setting the glass next to hers with a smirk on his face. "I wouldn't have mentioned it if I didn't want to," He placed a hand on her waist and and guided her towards the dance floor amid the rest of their drunk housemates. Devin came up behind her, hands on her hips, and waited to see what Karlee was capable of.
[This post was just fucking everywhere. I'm sorry love. :/]

Karlee liked to be subtle. To play hard to get. Even for one night it was fun, and she was sure most guys enjoyed playing the game too. Some where totally turned off, but not always. It wasn't that she wasn't interested, because she certainly was. She didn't know what his intentions where, but usually at parties like this it was pretty much all the same with guys - and girls. At least a good make out session for the evening would probably do, depending on how far gone she went. A little bit of liquor could get this girl to do anything - but she wasn't smart enough to say no to it. She did a lot of stupid things when she got to drinking. And she was starting to think tonight wasn't going to be any different. "I guess it was." She replied, a smirk playing across her lips. Karlee was pretty confident in herself with these things. She was a total flirt, and she wasn't ashamed by it. She also knew that she could dance, and she could dance good, so she wasn't too worried about that, either. "I guess I will be the judge of that, yeah?" Her smile broadened a little and she looked at him, her bright blue eyes searching his face for a moment.
Liquor really loosened Karlee up, as it did for most people, she guessed anyways. She was not planning on getting completely wasted tonight, but of course, plans did not always go as well - planned. Thanks to Devin bringing out the liquor, she was starting to think her plan wasn't going to follow through. Alcohol got her attention, and most guys knew that about her. She didn't consider herself an alcoholic, she just enjoyed having a good time. Alcohol just helped her with that. Aside from helping her forget everything she wanted to shove to the back of her memory. "Well maybe by the end of the night I'll be able to say that the pleasures all mine." She winked at him, her smirk playing a little bigger. If he didn't get what she meant than he was stupid. But starting with a dance couldn't hurt anything.
"Oh it wasn't?" She asked, a little amused, but still smiling. That was most guys intentions anymore, but she didn't let it bother her. If somebody was offering her alcohol, she was going to take it. She really only drank on weekends anyways, so she didn't think it was a big deal. Occasionally, during the week, if somebody sneaked it into the dorms, which happened more often than one might think. "Oh, perfect." Karlee mused as he guided her out to the dance floor. This was her element. And if she wanted to get anywhere she was going to have to get him riled up and into it. That was what this type of dancing was for right? His hands on her hips, this was her thing.
She was already into the music. The song "Glad You Came" was playing, and that was something she could dance to. She let one hand wind up around his neck as she started dancing on him. Her hips moving side to side, rolling against him. Her hand ran into his hair for a moment, feeling it between her fingers before going back to the side of his neck. "You enjoying yourself yet?" She said, turning her head a little to look at him. "If not, I'll have to do something differently." She bit at her lip for a moment before moving her hair off to one side, and her hand back to the side of his neck. Her hips still moving back and forth as she slid down him, her hand moving down his chest as she did so. She hesitated a minute before coming back up and gripping his neck a little to balance herself, while continuing to dance on him. This is fun.

Devin had experienced all of this before; the girls, the flirting, the dancing, the sex. It had been a long while since he was on this sort of scene, but his rustiness with the women was only faint. He quirked an eyebrow and winked at her, biting at his lip as he looked her over one good time. It was a way to show he understood what she was getting at, showing his interest without fully consenting to sex just yet. "I guess we'll have to see." Did he crave it? Of course. What guy wouldn't? But, like her, there was a bit more to this than just saying 'hey, let's have sex' and then disappear. That was not much fun. Devin shook his head and chuckled, watching as the people in the room were slowly getting more and more inebriated as the minutes wore on. Some people took it slow, some people took it down upon first arriving. "Nah, just figured if you were bored might as well liven things up a little bit. Can't go wrong with hard liquor." At least, you couldn't go wrong in his eyes. He liked just about any alcohol, but the higher the proof the faster you found yourself in a state to forget the world and everyone in it.
Once his hands were on her hips and a different song started to play, Devin kept his grip loose so Karlee could dance as she pleased. Her body rolled into him, her hand on his neck and running up into his hair. Devin fought closing his eyes, gripping her waist slightly in response. His pulse quickened from the mixture of alcohol, music, and the fact that a pretty girl was dancing all over him. It was difficult to keep himself under control. "Yeah, but I dunno...I'm kinda interested in seeing what else you can do..." He leaned in over her shoulder, breath brushing past her ear and skin as he did so. Grip still tight on her skin, the boy pulled her in against him roughly, smirking. "Unless you're just teasing me and you don't have much else to show me." He chuckled a little bit, hormones and alcohol churning together to create a dangerous concoction. Maybe the night would end in a little pleasure? Who knew. With the music thudding in his ears, Karlee's movements, the vodka...it could lead to just about anywhere at this point.

When it came to these things, the teasing and games was most of the fun. You didn't just grab somebody and say 'hey let's go fuck in a closet.' At least Karlee didn't. While she wasn't exactly a closed campus, she wasn't super easy either. Not while sober anyways, which she in fact was not sober right now. She wasn't hammered, but there was that faint buzz. Just enough to make your head feel like it had bubbles in it. That was about where she liked it, just enough to make your worries go away, but not enough to where you would be passing out in the dish washer. "I'd have to agree with that. Liquor makes any party more fun, yeah?" She smirked a little bit, raising an eyebrow slightly. It was true though, at least she thought so. Not just parties, it could make anything more fun.
Dancing like this was one thing Karlee knew to do well. Many girl's did, or at least she figured they did. High school dances where all about the dirty dancing. It was almost like having sex with your clothes on when you really got going. Karlee did not usually like to 'start of slow' when it came to these things. The faster the music though, it was usually the faster she moved. She liked dancing, and that was usually pretty obvious. "oh yeah?" She responded, with a small smirk, turning her head just enough to see him out of the corner of her eye. She let him pull her up against him, making her smirk a little bigger. "Babe, I've got lot's more I can show you. But most of it's not appropriate to do with people watching."
She bit her lip a little bit as the song changed, and started grinding on him. Her hand slipped down to the side of his neck, the other running casually through her own hair. It was a habit for her, to always be messing with her hair, no matter the situation. After a few moments she turned around to face him, her face only a couple inches from his. Her breath was hot, and she let a small smile creep over her face. Her arm's went up around his neck, one hand running through his hair. Her hip's where still swaying and rolling against him. "Figured this couldn't hurt, right?" She took a moment to look at him with her bright blue eyes before glancing away, and pressing her stomach up against his. She liked to be close when ever she was dancing, it made it funner. "Let me know when your tired of dancing."

"Yeah," Devin replied with a smirk. He wouldn't have said he was interested if he wasn't. After the way she moved on him, touched him, and the fact that he had enough alcohol in him to push his hormones a little higher, there was a chance he might take this girl upstairs and take to a little horizontal dancing. That was, if she found herself interested enough to join him. If not, then that was okay too. Devin was not going to mope around and miss out on other opportunities. That was not how he functioned at a party. If he walked in anticipating a sex partner, then he would be damned if he did not get one by the end of the night. It was always best to plan out how your night was going to end, right? Especially if you plan on drinking a good bit of alcohol. Doesn't always end up like I plan... If he was gone enough, he would screw any girl that passed him a suggestive smirk and gestured to the nearest bedroom, even if that was not his intent to begin with. Tonight, however, he had come with a hope of finding himself a dance (and bed) partner. Karlee's responses were giving him the signals he was looking for. "Oh is that so? Well I don't mind going behind closed doors to get a bit of a show." The blonde bit at his lip, allowing his eyes to close for a half second as she moved against him.
The tempo of the music changed, but the beat remained about the same. Karlee pushed herself up against him and began to grind, Devin moving along with her and loving the feeling of her body against his. Yeah, definitely need to do some of this without our clothes on... The girl had hit his breaking point, making it difficult to focus on much else other than the stairs nearby. When she turned around and wrapped her hands around his neck, breath hot on his skin, Devin looked at her with a devilish smirk. "No, it can't hurt at all," He breathed before kissing her, running his hands down her thighs and keeping her close. It was not extremely heated, nor did the sparks fly as they did when he kissed Autumn, but he was turned on none the less and it took him a moment to break away from her. It pushed his ex-girlfriend's memory out of the window, at the very least. He was appreciative of that. Devin licked at his bottom lip as he looked her over, gripping her thighs. "I think I'll let you be the judge of that," He replied, searching her blue eyes with his own. They were glazed with vodka and beer, but in them was a flash of lust. "Whenever you get tired of this, we'll...move on to something else." He figured she would get the hint.

The buzz of the alcohol was just enough now to really start to loosen Karlee up. She was flirty by nature, but the alcohol would make it more so. It already was. Liquor and meaningless and degrading sex was how she forgot everything she wanted to forget. The memories that where always brooding in the back of her mind seemed to vanish on nights like these. That was all she really looked for. Plus, this guy was hot. She was already having trouble remembering his name. Kevin? Tevin? No - Devin. Yeah that's it. She thought to herself. No matter how little you knew somebody, it was embarrassing to cry out the wrong name during sex. The way the night was looking already like it might go that way. He seemed interested, and she was. If she wasn't, she wouldn't have been giving him the cues she was. "Well then, I don't mind taking you behind closed doors to show you." She said, biting at her lip a little. If a show was what he wanted, a show was what he would get.
Dancing was always a turn on. More so for the guy's than anything, she imagined. It was hot, and she liked feeling his body against hers. Feeling his hands on her hips. She was in her element. Things like these nothing really mattered. It didn't matter about your past, or future. All that mattered was the present and the moments that you got caught up in. Nobody asked questions, it was all meaningless. For all she knew, he lied about his name. For all he knew, she could have lied about her's, too. She had done it before, simply just to get rid of that possible attachment factor. As she turned around and looked at him, a small smirk crossed her lips before feeling his lips pressed against hers. There wasn't anything special about it. It was lustful, everything about his moves where. The look in his eyes. Everything about her's where, too though. So that was good. She kissed him back, running her tongue over his lower lip as she did so.
She tightened the grip on his neck a little bit, rising up on her toes a bit as he gripped her thighs and pulled away. Her blue eyes shone with lust as she bit at her lip, smirking at him. "Then I'm bored. Let's find something funner to do." She said, looking at him for a minute, before bringing her mouth close to his ear, her breath hot on his skin. "Come with me?" She pulled away, letting her hands slide down and take his hand loosely, heading for the stairs. Nobody would care if they used the bedroom, she didn't think. She walked up the stairs on the balls of her feet, towing him along behind her. There was a door open to a bedroom, noting that the room was available. She turned and smiled at him for a moment before walking in. "How's this look as our... entertainment room?" She walked in, waiting for him to enter before closing the door. She turned and looked at him, biting at her lip a little. "So, Devin, where should we start?" She raised an eyebrow at him, the smirk present on her features.

Devin quirked an eyebrow and smirked at her, the cues she threw at him more than enough to push him forward into the situation they were probably going to be in soon. "I think I like where this is going..." Devin replied, voice low but loud enough for her to hear. Her close proximity was making it difficult to focus or contain himself, and wondered if this was all just a game to her or if something was actually going to happen. Devin didn't mind the chase, so long as it did not take him longer than a night to get what he wanted. Karlee was throwing plenty of hints his way though, enough to make him interested in a little more than a dance. That was essentially what he was waiting for--to see if she could drive him to the point of wanting a little more. The kiss broke off, his hormones nagging at him to go ahead and make the first move, but she beat him to the punch. Devin smiled and nodded at her, taking her hand willingly to go up the stairs to the nearest bedroom. "I think this will do just fine." He walked in after her and watched as she shut the door, glancing her over one good time before smirking again. "I think..." He advanced towards her and pushed her up against the nearest wall, pressing his body against hers. "We should start with you, and me, and our clothes on the floor. And we can just...play it by ear after that." After a moment of looking at her, Devin kissed her again, somewhat glad that he was going to actually remember some of tonight. Not all, but some.
