WEATHER AND UPDATES
MONTH DECEMBER SEASON WINTER
UPDATES
04.12.09 Right, I tried putting it off for as long as I could, but eventually it had to be done. All inactive leader positions have been revoked. Also, to replace some of the positions, everyone now has the option of having two leader characters.
30.07.09 I have returned! I apologize to you all for my absence, but of course you know it wasn't voluntary. Great thanks to Allie for keeping it alive - I owe you. So I made her an administrator as well :)
19.06.09 We're in desperate need of Water and Earth students at the moment, if people haven't noticed. Those that we do have aren't very active, with the exception of a few members, you know who you are. It's sort of odd having the majority of the characters as Thunder and Fire, considering not only are they allies, but they're also the dark elements. We need some more peacekeepers, geez!
Also, my exams are almost over, so I'll probably try and come up with a new plot after the summer kicks in for precious old Canada over here! Tee hee!

Twilight « Thread Started on Aug 22, 2009, 8:17am »
David sat near the edge of the cliff, taking in the amazing view before him. It was the time when it was neither day nor night, but somewhere in between. Twilight. As usual, he was alone, since no one ever bothered to get to know the new kid.
Suddenly the sky lit up in a rubescent fiery explosion which was both shocking and magnificent at the same time. The explosion had come from the lake. It was definately made by a fire stundent. They were probably having a party near the lake, judging from the music and shouting and laughing he was hearing.
David had a sudden idea. With a mischievous grin, he stood up and started a small tornado near the shore of the lake. The tornado moved from the lake to the spot where they were having the party. The students continued their partying, oblivious to what was happening. The air in the tornado suddenly dispersed, making the water fall with a huge splash on them. He quickly sat down, both from the exhaustion of using his powers at a large scale and so that they wouldn't spot him, chuckling to himself.

Alex sat on the beach, staring out at the water as his friend amused the others with colorful explosions. A smile twitched on the edge of his lips, but he made no move to join them in their laughter. It was his birthday tomorrow, he was going to be eighteen in less than twenty four hours now, and he really didn't want this day to end. He sighed and pulled his knees closer to his chest, noticing the tornado but figuring it might just be Ian fucking around a bit as he always did. His friends were close-by, and even though Ian took no notice of the whirling mass of wind, Alex still figured it was only a harmless trick being played by a wind student.
That is, until someone made the tornado venture into the lake, sending out a large wave of water and soaking him in the freezing liquid. His mood changed from calm and sombre to raging mad as he waved his hand to dry himself off, then stood, glaring at the cliffs as his extra-sensitive hearing picked up the sound of another person. Bastard! he thought, climbing the cliffs rapidly and taking in the air. Being a vampire, it didn't take him long to track down the boy, where he narrowed his eyes and took a threatening step closer. "And what the fuck do you think you're doing?" he snarled angrily.

David was just about to lie down and close his eyes when he spotted someone striding purposefully toward him. He recognized the guy as the leader of the fire students, though he didn't know his name. He stood up when the guy took a step closer, not feeling the least bit frightened. "Trying to get some peace and quiet. What the hell is your problem?" he said with the same menacing tone that the guy had used, not taking into account that he had just thrown lake water at a party that most probably consisted of fire students, who were now indefinitely pissed, and probably looking for him this very moment.

If he had been mad before, it angered him even more when the boy just acted like he hadn't done anything. "Bullshit," he growled, his gray eyes cold and his hand surrounded by a dark red glow. He was obviously past the point of simple irritation, it was never wise to get a fire vampire angry, especially when they weren't in the greatest of moods to begin with. "If you were trying to get some fucking peace and quiet, you wouldn't get me god damn wet, now would you?" He took another step forward and shoved the boy, hard.

Somewhere at the back of his mind, common sense was nagging him to just back of and apologize. Which was what he might possibly have done had the guy not pushed him. He staggered back a few steps, his foot just inches away from the cliff's edge. His anger immediately flared. Normally he did his best to stay out of fights, but he'd make an exception. "Its not really my fault that you were blind enough not to notice a tornado heading toward you, nor was it my fault that you were in the fucking way when it hit." he spat, shoving back and adding some wind to it, making it stronger.

Alright. One thing was for sure, when he was already in a bad mood, you didn't dare piss off Alexandre Blackthorn. And being insulted and then assaulted was a certain way that always angered him in the extremes, without fail. He was also a vampire, which was secret to most of the kids in the school, so he stood his ground like a solid brick wall when he was shoved, only shifting about a centimeter due to the strong wind pressure. And instead of being unfazed by the insult as usual, his already irritable mood took it much more heavily.
"Well, then I could equally say it's not my fault that you're too stupid to realize when to back the fuck down," he snarled in response, his voice dark and cold as he lunged for the other boy without warning, slamming him against the wall with enhanced strength and speed. He pulled his knife out with a hiss. "Nor is it my fault you chose to hit me, which was a really fucking wise idea," he snapped sarcastically.

Dave felt the breath knocked out of him, his back burning with pain from the power of the fire student, but he didn't let it show. Instead, he glared at him with, letting out a snort when he took out the knife. "I see someone doesn't want to use their powers. Scared that I'll blow your little flame away? What are you gonna do, stab me with that little toothpick of yours?" he smiled coldly. He knew that it wasn't the best idea to make an angry fire student even angrier, but he just couldn't resist.

Alex knew that Migoto hated it when he attacked people, it was the entire reason that he'd stopped for a while. He had learned self control so he could keep her. But some people just knew the exact things to say that simply set him off, and this guy was practically spelling out the fact that he wanted to get his ass kicked.
Alexandre narrowed his eyes. "Actually, I was giving you a chance to walk away without scars, but... if you're sure." He grabbed the boy's arm in a vice-like grip and increased the heat pressure in his hand until it was hot enough to burn, using his other hand to press the cool metal of the knife against his neck. It wasn't slicing the skin, though he would if pushed far enough. "How does that feel?" he sneered.

Dave bit his lip to keep from crying out in pain. "Oh, like you'd want to know." he said through gritted teeth. He tried to summon some wind to cool down the burn, but to no avail. He was trapped. With one last effort, he let out a strong concentrated blast of air, which drained nearly the last of his energy reserves. If it weren't for the fire student holding him against the wall hewould have collapsed right then and there.
Alexandre hissed when the wind hit him, but he used his strength to remain where he was, tightening his hold on the boy's arm as his rage built up slowly. He wanted to hurt him, wanted to sink his fangs into his neck... but no, that would be going much too far. Instead, he could tell that the other boy was beat, so he let go and stepped back with a soft growl in his throat. "That's what people get when they decide to mess with people stronger than him," he said coldly.
Dave slumped down onto the ground. He could still feel the sting of the burn on his arm, and it hurt like hell. There were black spots dancing in his vision and he felt a wave of dizziness come over him. The pain in his arm started to dull and fade. He was loosing consciousness. He bit back a retort, partly because he didn't have the energy to make one, and because he didn't need the fire student to get angrier than he already was. His vision started to blur around the edges, spreaing inwards until he fell unconscious.
