HISTORY In her youth, Rachael was a meek, timid girl with little confidence or self-esteem. She knew no life other than one of exile, dependent and in constant fear of her mother. She was the only family she knew, but was often a cruel guardian, prone to mood swings and fits of violence. One night Victoria Callahan got so drunk that she beat her daughter senselessly before passing out. While her mother slept, Rachael finally snuck out of the apartment and informed the authorities. If left Rachael in foster care most of her life. She jumped from family to family, somehow always managing to return to an orphanage. At a fourteen she had already shown signs of elemental powers.
Her attendance at the Academy was a turning point for her; adapting to life of an elemental was difficult, but it allowed her to begin to achieve independence from her the memory of her abusive mother, and she emerged from the experience as a strong, confident, and even outgoing woman. Nevertheless, she has not forgotten what it was like to be a victimized child, and her experiences have left her with a compassion for those who are bullied. Rachael became a very sociable girl compared to how she acted in her youth. The young woman seems to act cold in many people's eyes but she is really doing what she sees is best by hiding his nasty past with a much more assertive attitude.
When Rachael came of age, the choice was easy for her; college. She had the time of her life at the Academy and was going to ride that wave as long as she could. She is more or less barely getting by, but school was always a social awakening for her. She struggles with her bartending job and adjusting to a life where she can make her own decisions.

RP SAMPLERobin was going all out of the hard bag today, boxing was the teenager's favorite way to train and she was also throwing in kicks for an even harder work out. Robin didn't know what she would have done if she hadn't found the athletic centre, she was only a freshman at MOU so she didn't think that she would be able to find it. Meaning that she would have been bored, and that she would have been forced to find solitude elsewhere, the teenager wasn't one for being social which was evident by the fact that Robin has only been to a few parties, and even then her boyfriend at the time had forced her against her will to go.
The teenager enjoyed the fact that when she trained, she was able to be alone. It'd be safe to say that the teenager was very much a loner, she was the kid who always sat in the back corner of a class, wanting no one to sit at the desk besides her, and she was the kid who just didn't have many friends, as people just didn't like how anti-social Robin was. Often she came across as hostile to most including Darren, although that was one thing that she didn't mean; well at least there was a small part of Robin that didn't mean to come across as hostile. But hey that was also a good thing because most people left her alone, she guessed that some of the more timid and shy students must have been frightened to approach her, while some of the party students just didn't want to be around her, from fear of Robin ruining the party.
The teenager had been going hard punching and kicking one of the many hard bags in the athletic centre, before she finally decided to take a rest. As Robin retrieved her towel and began to wipe his sweat, she noticed that one of her half-brothers, Darren had entered the athletic centre. Robin didn't hate her half-brother but they certainly weren't the best of friends either, but that was probably her fault more then Darren's, they were both just were so different, for one Robin liked to show-off way more then Darren did. Despite both of the teenagers both being New-Yorkers they both and lead two very different lives prior to coming to MOU. Darren was a teenager who had known the meaning of the dollar, fancy clothes and the best schools all of that which Robin hadn't known, as she was one of those teenagers who were only just barely scraping by. It wasn't that Robin was jealous of her half-brother of her lifestyle before coming to MOU, because the teenager wasn't jealous of anyone. Robin actually thought that because of her hard life that it made her stronger, both mentally and especially physically, and thought that people who had money were weak, that they had become complacent, thought the teenager wasn't about to tell Darren what he thought.
Still they were pretty much family, right, and Darren kept his tone even as he stated that the other teenager had found the gym so Robin thought she should do the same. "Well, that title is alright, right I mean technically we are" the teenager began and it was obvious that Robin wasn’t use to talking to people, " I can always find gyms." The teenager the teenager walked behind the hard bag he was just using holding it steady, "what do you say you show me what you got on this hard bag, kicking included"
