CELEBRITY CLAIM Cillian Murphy.
EYE COLOUR Blue.
HAIR COLOUR Brown.
HEIGHT & WEIGHT Six feet.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES Has a scar on the left side of his chin that actually looks like a divot more than a mere mark, and has holes in his ears from when he used to wear earrings.
CLOTHING STYLE Grayson prefers a more formal wardrobe. He likes the suits, the ties, the polos, the khaki pants...anything that makes him look like a professional. He believes it speaks volumes about a person in the way that they dress. He is not opposed to wearing more casual clothing but that's a rare sight to see on the school campus. If casual he will wear nice dark jeans and comfortable t-shirts. Occasionally he will wear shorts but he gets awkward about his legs.

POSITIVE TRAITS
- RESPONSIBLE || He can care for himself and his brother, knows how to pay the bills on time, doesn't overdo his drinking (though he's wanted to many times), and gets his work done. He knows what is necessary.
- PRACTICAL || He likes to know that something is actually of use to himself or other people. To buy himself a fancy new watch simply because it is shiny seems unnecessary. So long as it gives him the time, he does not really care if it's a Rolex or a cheap-o from the thrift store.
- LOGICAL || There are just some things in life that simply make sense, and some people (he thinks) lack in that basic intelligence. He prides himself on having clear, sound reasoning. It does not always happen, but hey, no one is perfect.
- INTELLIGENT || Grayson loves to learn about many different things and has the capability to retain the information quite well. Although his love is for biology he does have tidbits about many different subjects, simply because his interest led him to read and learn.
- PATIENT || If the line is forever long, he doesn't mind waiting. There are things he can do to occupy his time. When it pertains to his class and teaching he does tend to get a bit less...understanding if someone does not grasp the information or the concept, but he does try. Overall he has a pretty long fuse.
- DRIVEN || He has what it takes to get stuff done. If he feels compelled to do research on something or learn a new skill, he will strive to gather whatever information he can and gain knowledge.
- RESERVED || Grayson tends to keep his emotions to himself a lot of the time. Even if he's upset or angry it can be difficult to tell unless he outright tells you or (occasionally) acts on it.
NEGATIVE TRAITS
- INDIFFERENT || Most of the time, if Grayson looks like he doesn't care...well, he probably doesn't. And if he does, his reserved nature normally prevents it from revealing itself outright. A lot of people don't enjoy this aspect of his personality because they assume that as a professor he should care. Oh well.
- VENGEFUL || This can be conducted to your face or passive aggressively. He's not against holding a grudge and being spiteful towards others if he feels they deserve it.
- DISORGANIZED || Despite being responsible, Gray really is a bit scattered when it comes to papers and books and other items. "An organized mess" as he likes to call it. Most of the time he can remember where something is, but to anyone else they wonder how the fuck he doesn't manage to lose everything. Nothing is in order or sorted. It's just...there.
- SOCIALLY INEPT || He really has a hard time with words (unless it's with something he's familiar with) and being in a group. Focusing most of his attention on his studies in college and back into high school, he did not make many friends or go out a lot. ~Awkward~
- SARCASTIC || Very dry wit. Can be a bit harsh at times considering he is not the most sensitive person and does not always think before he speaks.
- STUBBORN || The guy likes to do what he wants and does not do well with seeing things in any other way but his own. Whether it be academically or with life he does not like to admit being in the wrong nor does he intend to change his views.
- ARGUMENTATIVE || More in a debatable sense than anything else. If you can give him a good back and forth--an intelligent one--then you can bet he'll take on the debate. He's not really one to back down from said argument either.

FEARS
- Losing his brother
- Going blind
- Enclosed spaces (Claustrophobic)
BEST MEMORY When he obtained his doctorate in Biology. It was something he's wanted since high school and he feels it is his greatest achievement. Not to mention he likes the fact that his students now call him "Doctor Schultz" or "Doctor Gray" instead of "Mister". Makes him feel important.
WORST MEMORY Finding out what Down's Syndrome actually was. He was only five when Trent was born and so never understood what his brothers' disorder entailed. When he turned about fifteen curiosity got the better of him and he finally researched (go figure) what Trent was truly dealing with. Grayson was not exactly sure how to cope with all of this, and although Trent could do things for himself he became his younger brother's silent protector.
LONG-TERM GOAL He's achieved many of his goals, so at this point in his life it's to earn a good living and be comfortable, perhaps settle down one day if he can.

HISTORY
Grayson was born and raised in Maple Hollow by his two loving parents Delia and Robert Schultz. Although his immediate family is Canadian by birth, his family are primarily German and he often went overseas to visit his distant relatives whenever time allowed. Throughout most of his childhood everything was fairly normal and average; his parents were good to him, he came from good money (not rolling in millions but certainly enough to be overly comfortable), and despite his quiet nature his time at school was not some horrendous nightmare. However, when he was five years old his brother Trent was born. Grayson always wondered what it was that was different about his younger brother but at the time he was not quite old enough to understand that Trent had Down's Syndrome. His mother's age at the time of pregnancy increased the chances and Trent wound up being part of that extra percentile. He was a sweet child though, curious and loving and progressed as normally as he could considering his disability. Grayson never even took the time to judge Trent nor did he get overly upset when Delia and Robert spent extra time with him. Grayson was naturally one to do things on his own or be by himself so he coped well.
Things did take a rather different turn when he obtained his powers--something his father mentioned earlier in his life, saying there was a chance he could become an elemental--and he started up high school at the Academy. He was bullied quite a bit near the beginning, kids slamming his books to the floor and calling him names and taking his lunch money. He held his grudges and got in several fights after finally being pushed so far, but in the end his tendency to internalize his emotions and his problems pushed people away. It was no longer something fun because he stopped responding. Outside of that, it was not really the academic or bullying aspect of his high school life that left a bit of a mark in his memories. It had been Trent. When he turned fifteen his brother's disability was gathering up quite a bit of curiosity and Grayson urged himself forward into researching more about what Down's Syndrome entailed. He realized that Trent would not be able to live an entirely fulfilling life, and there was a chance that he would eventually fall apart mentally. The fact that he would outlive Trent by many years was a devastating blow. This spurred Grayson to be more protective over his brother and dote on him more than was probably necessary. No one was going to mess with his little brother if he could help it. At least his parents sent him to a school for the disabled so he could be in a safe environment.
When Grayson graduated from high school he went straight into college, aiming to get a degree in biology. It had always been his passion and wanted to find a career that would let him utilize his knowledge. So, after setting himself up for a double major with biology and teaching, he set off down the college path and drove himself as hard as he possibly could. Being at the Academy college gave him a great advantage with his elemental powers as well, and embraced it with equal ferocity. The man hardly had time for much of anything outside of academics and did not make a bunch of friends, nor keep them around because life drifted them apart. It was as though he was an academa-holic. His family's good money did help him avoid having to take on a full time job, too, so he could push all of his attention on his classes. Once he had obtained his degrees, he went into teaching high school while going for his doctorate in Biology. Most of the students were incredibly obnoxious but he handled them pretty well considering, and knew that once he obtained his doctorate he could do more with his teaching career and possibly go beyond that.
In the midst of obtaining the doctorate and teaching at the Academy, family life took a rather different turn. His parents decided that they were going to move to Germany to be with their relatives as many of them were getting along in age and they wanted to be around to help them whenever possible. Not to mention Robert had a possible job in his field of dentistry already lined up, which was a great motivation as well. They left Trent in Grayson's care--which did not bother him much at all--and his parents helped fund to have someone care for his brother whenever Gray had to go to work. Despite his brother's presence at the house the man did wind up being rather lonely and bought himself a few hermit crabs. Easy to care for, and lived fairly long lives. They were one of his favorite pets besides cats and some breeds of small dog. He soon obtained his doctorate around the beginning of this year and is now able to teach college level courses from Freshman to Senior. He's still new to it but has enjoyed it a great deal more than the high school. So, he's currently spending his days as a college professor (who enjoys being called Doctor Gray) and caring for his brother Trent, just taking things as they come. He hopes to go for a few more degrees in the near future as well.
