Jacklyn, scared and confused hugged the wall as she worked through the maze like layout of the dungeons. If I keep to the left, or maybe it's the right... oh no what have I done. Jacklyn had found herself at a dead end "I'm never going to find my way out of here!" She exclaimed, slumping down to the floor to mope. It was dark and dirty down below the school, she couldn't imagine why a door leading down here even existed, in her mind it would make more sense to seal it off so no one would accentually make there way down looking for something else. Kacklyn had run down the steps after seeing a small rat head down first. She tried to follow it but by the time she realised it was gone, she was lost.
When she had fallen to her knees in frustration she had yelled loud. From behind her she could hear footsteps. First quiet, she figured the stress was making her hear things but as they got louder it became clear there was someone heading towards her. She slowly turned around to see a group of three girls quite a bit older looking then herself. "Um, Hello" She said in a shaky voice clearly scared. "Can I help you?" She asked as they got closer. One of the girls poked her bare shoulder giving her a light shock. "What do you think you're doing down here? This is our territory!" The girl said shocking her again. Jacklyn looked around, she was surrounded, there was no escape.

Nell really needed to stop doing this, but she couldn't think of anything that would fix it. Maps never seemed to help her too much, and here she was, in the dungeons. Her last visit here hadn't gone very well, and the only way she'd gotten away from Chase was by tricking him. If she ran into another Fire, she'd have to think up something else. It wasn't the safest place during the war, even while the elements were at peace. Well, as peaceful as they got with one another. There was always individual fights, especially when it involved the temperamental Fire element. They weren't the only ones to cause trouble, however. Nell huddled into her hoodie, glad that she had thought to wear it today. It had been cold, and in some of the classrooms there was an unfortunate draft. Winter would be coming soon, but for now she just enjoyed the autumn. It wasn't too bad, after all. She enjoyed every season, and it may have been her connection with nature that had been the cause of it. Then again, she never honestly hated anything, including weather or seasons. She was as pleasant as a cool spring day.
Nell walked down the dark tunnels, fearing that she might go deep enough to find some of the skeletons. Or she might get lost forever. Nope, we're on adventure. That's what she liked to call it. She didn't get lost, she went on adventures. Definitely sounded more fun like that, now didn't it? She wasn't afraid of the dark, but the closed in spaces, the fact that she was in underground tunnels, made her uncomfortable. Add on to the fact that this was enemy territory. That's why she stiffened when she heard the voice, echoing over to her. A mini heart attack struck her, but as a calm person, it didn't show. She shouldn't have headed that way, but it was the second voice that drew her closer. She recognized it. Jacklyn. She was a young Earth elemental, Nell had seen her around the dorms, struck up conversation with her. She liked to do so, talk to her fellow elementals, she considered them the closest thing she had to family. Her friends her her family, actually, the best things she ever had.
Even without seeing what was going on, she knew what had happened, and she went quicker. Nell saw the group, or rather pack, as they surrounded the Earth girl. Keeping her footsteps quiet, she trailed a hand against the wall, letting her power seep out, growing vines, wrapping around the girls, their arms and their waists. She didn't know what element they were in yet,so she wasn't sure if they could burn through them. If so, she had another thing she could try and use. As it were, they snapped at her. Nell took Jacklyn's hand, and said, "We're going to run now, kay?" And so she dragged her along, sprinting as far away as she could, hoping they wouldn't have another encounter. She still didn't know where they were as she slowed, dropping the other girl's hands, so she asked, "What are you doing down here?" Maybe she was lost too, or did she think that she could go this way for something. "Are you all right? They didn't hurt you?" She patted the air around Jackie, as if afraid to touch her, just in case.
