Yeager was no stranger to the party scene, because it was his scene. Well, he might not go as hard as some people, but he usually showed up at all the biggest events, heard through the grapevine what was going on. And now that he had a car again, he could actually get there. So long he had been stuck begging rides of his parents, now he could go himself. It didn't matter when he had to sneak out, though, because a missing car from the driveway would be far too obvious. All he had to be thankful for was a very nice house with nothing that creaked. It was fairly new, though, so he had to watch where he put his feet if he had to go out the window and jump down to the porch.
Tonight, he made it out without sneaking. He'd been doing okay in school, and so his parents agreed that it would be fine if he went out. He didn't plan on getting that drunk. It took a lot to knock him over, he was like an elephant. Still, the red cup he held contained only Coke, a buffer for any drinking he planned to do that night. He also made sure to eat before heading out, because he knew what drinking on an empty stomach was like, and he would not like a repeat of any incident. It was unfortunate the one time he spent with his head in his friends toilet dry-heaving. Embarrassing events like that needed no repeats.
Yeager greeted people he knew, chatted up a few of his buddies who'd he heard about it from. He was a chill guy, but he seemed to morph easily into the environment of smoke and heavy bass. The house was big as every house hosting a party like this needed to be, and he knew the guy who it belonged to. He knew a lot of people, he was a social creature that needed to be surrounded by anyone and everyone at all times. He might have come off as a selfish jerk, but he was more than that. Would a guy who dressed as fly as him be a total douche? He did not think so.
One of the familiar faces he came across was an older Water girl, Noly. He didn't have many close girlfriends because he was a dude, after all, and for as much he screamed homosexual, he was not. He did not even care about the rumors, fed by the fact he had two daddies. The boy just liked to dress well and keep clean, that was an admirable trait in teenagers. "Hey, hey," he greeted languidly, a smile on his face. "I guess you've already been drinking huh, Nols?" She was notorious for it, so it was safe to assume. He took it slow himself, that much was obvious. In his experience, most people didn't need to be drunk to do stupid shit. He was one of those people.

Noly was already having the time of her life. It had been so long since she was just able to relax and have a good time, so this was much needed. Naturally, she had grabbed a drink as soon as she stepped through the door and was ushered to the kitchen. Just with that first drink, she fluttered around the house, mingling and just making small talk. Of course, she avoid the topic of her sister, and where she'd been for the last year. She just said that she had taken a trip to see the world and left it at that.
She decided, to avoid the questions, she would dance. And dance she did. She danced until her chest felt like it was going to cave in, and finally went off for her second drink. She made up a pitcher of Red Headed Sluts for everyone and poured herself a cup before she headed back into the main room. Her breath was still heavy as she finally heard the familiar voice behind her. She lifted an eyebrow as she turned around, shocked at the boy standing behind him. It had only been a year, but Yaeger seemed to have grown up a bit. He didn't look like the awkward kid Noly took to parties with her because his parents wouldn't let him go. She was pleased to say she was proud of the boy.
When he mentioned her drinking, she grinned and held up her cup, nodding. "You know it."
She gave the boy a grin before she lifted her free arm to hug him. "Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes. Parent's actually let you out of the house without me, Yeags?" She gave him a grin before she took a sip from her cup. "And don't tell anyone, but this is only my second drink." She put her finger to her lips before she laughed again. It was nice to see familiar faces and just have fun, and not worry about a lunatic bitch of a sister.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Yeager had never been awkward before. As a matter of fact, he'd always been hanging out with who he could, going to parties, causing trouble. He may have hung out with the wrong crowd, but he honestly didn't know what the right crowd was. The other boys who holed themselves up and sat on the computer all day, played video games? The band geeks who were more interested in finding something to bang than actually playing in the band? He didn't try to find the right people to hang out with, because he liked the people who he surrounded himself with. They were his crew, his homies. And he wouldn't change who he knew for the world, even if he may have made fun of them like nothing else.
And he guessed Noly could have been considered part of that crew. He didn't really make a habit of befriending chicks, really. He was a dude, it was only expected that he hung around a lot of dude that shared his same interests. "It's really great to see you again," the Water said with sincere fondness as he circled an arm around her. "Feels like forever!" It really had been about a year, but he had no clue that she had been out of the Hollow. His theories were that she might have gone to a normal school, though that would be impossible considering you were practically forced to attend the Academy once you were brought in. Other than that, he hadn't a clue.
He gave her a quizzical look when she made the comment. "And what's that supposed to mean?" Yeager asked, really not knowing what she meant. The boy had left his house without her before, he did it a lot. The only problem had been not owning the car he needed to get from point a to point b, thanks to his grandmother who was a illegitimate psychopath. Then he laughed when she said that it was only her second drink. "Oh, so you've gotten more tame. That may be a good thing, you see, your body probably hates you and all that alcohol." He pointed to his own cup. "Coke. Like a boss." He might stay dry tonight, who knew? If someone gave him a beer, he'd take it. He just really wanted his coke.
He threw an arm around her shoulder, a mischievous grin on his face which meant that he was up to no good. It was a familiar expression pushing his cheeks and crinkling his eyes. He was an impish boy after all. "Now, I would like to propose something to you. A...proposition, you could say! Here me out?" The unfortunate thing was he could possibly be drunk without even the drinking part. It was his personality, and his personality had a lot of facets, some of them not quite so endearing to him.
