CELEBRITY CLAIM Lee Jieun
EYE COLOUR Brown
HAIR COLOUR Naturally black, sometimes bleached a lighter shade
HEIGHT & WEIGHT 5'2" 117 pounds
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES Haylee has a small scar on her belly from having her appendix removed appendicitis when she was 5. She also has a scar hiding in her hairline, behind her left ear. She and her brother were skipping stones when they were twelve, and her brother released a rock too soon, and it hit her in the back of the head. There is a small mole on her right shoulder and a birthmark which looks sort of like spilled coffee above her left hip on her lower back.
CLOTHING STYLE
Haylee's clothing style is a mishmash of different styles, depending on how she was feeling when she was getting dressed. Most days she's somewhat girly, with fitted tees or long sleeved tops and either a skirt or a pair of jeans or skirts. She also loves to wear dresses. Some days she'll layer an oversized top over a fitted one. Some days she wears sweatpants. Most of the time she wears sneakers. Haylee is nearsighted and has to wear glasses to see things from a distance, such as the front of a classroom. Most days she'll wear contacts but some days she leaves them behind and wears her glasses. This is almost always true when she studies, since her contacts make reading a page a bit blurry.

BEST MEMORY
When Haylee was ten years old her mom took her to a dance performance. The troupe fused different types of dance and some gymnastics into their ruitine and Haylee was enthralled. She took up dance for a little while, but soon found she lacked the ability to truly go anywhere in the world of dance, but the not of the performance still is a wonderful memory for her.
WORST MEMORY
When she was seven years old one of Haylee's friends fell out of a third story hotel balcony and died. Haylee and the girl weren't very close, but the incident woke Haylee up to the idea of mortality and that life isn't forever. The incident doesn't bug her anymore and she rarely thinks of it, but it has left her with a lasting fear of heights.
LONG-TERM GOAL
Haylee wants to do something that involves taking care of people or animals. She just hasn't decided yet. She'll probably end up nursing, though, if she's being honest. That, or teaching.

MOTHER Tara Rose nee Dunley (45), Executive in a small advertising company.
FATHER Arthur Rose (49), CEO of small advertising company.
SIBLINGS Jace Rose (1), student. (Korean name Jungjae Oh) Twin brother
OTHER Oh Junghoon and Jin Eunsoo, biological parents. Ages and occupations unknown.
HISTORY
Arthur and Tara Rose had been trying for a while to have a baby when they received news from a fertility doctor that Tara was infertile and incapable of supporting a developing fetus, and gave them their options. Tara was heartbroken at first, and Arthur did his best to comfort his wife until she was ready to look at other options. Eventually she was, and together the couple decided that they would like to adopt from overseas. They new it was a process that could take time, but they were willing to wait. Still, they did everything they could when filling out the paperwork to make sure that the wait wouldn't be too long, accepting multiple births, accepting both boys and girls, etc. The only thing they didn't budge on was health and age. They wanted a healthy baby. They got two. Oh Jungjae and Oh Eunmi, born on February 16, were put up for adoption not long after their births had been registered, and the Rose couple was contacted and asked if they would be willing to adopt twins. They gladly accepted. Paperwork was filled, final background checks were performed, and after everything was done, the twins were finally brought home.
When she was very little Haylee saw nothing strange about the fact that she looked so very different from her parents. In her head it made sense that two white parents could make Asian babies. As she got older, though, and began to meet more of her friends parents, it became more obvious that something didn't quite add up. She would talk to her brother about it, but never actually brought it up to her parents. When the twins were ten years old, their parents decided to let them know that they were adopted. It had long been obvious to the twins at that point, so they did little more than laugh at the seriousness of the confession, and assure their parents that they were not at all surprised, and that it hadn't changed anything. Haylee's childhood was really nothing special. It was all rather... average. She wasn't bullied in school, and neither was she the center of popularity. She had her group of friends, and she got along well enough with everyone else. There was the bother of explaining to some of her classmates that being Asian didn't make her good at maths or science, and that they were in fact her worst subjects, but she thought that was pretty typical. She'd always done okay in school. She was neither the worst in her classes, nor was she the best. Her best friend growing up was always her brother. Even though they don't always see eye to eye about everything, it was common knowledge that the two had a good relationship, and always had the other's back.
When the twins were thirteen they learned something new about their origins. When she had given up rights to her children, the twins mother had included letters that she wanted them to open the December after they turned 13. Apparently, the twin's mother had been able to control earth, and elemental power was something that had run in her family. Their biological father hadn't had any elemental power, and so their mother's family had made her leave him so that their bloodline would not be deluded. However, not long after she found out that she was pregnant. Her parents had set her up with a marriage, but with children her situation wouldn't work. Instead, they pushed back the wedding, and told her to get rid of the children. Their mother did, although she knew there was a chance that her children would also have elemental power, or that even if they didn't, their children could. To prepare them for this possibility, she had written letters. Not long after they had opened these letters, the twins were contacted by and enrolled in the academy.

HOW'D YOU FIND US? Caution
SECRET WORD Correct.
RP SAMPLEHaylee sat hunched over a sketchbook in the very bowels of the Academy library, her back against a wall and her knees drawn up to provide a hard surface for her to rest her sketchbook on. She'd come to the library with the intentions of drawing out a rough sketch for a painting she was planning as a gift for her parents' anniversary, heading into an aisle she knew people were least likely to come through so that there would be the least distractions possible until she finished. Instead, she'd spent the last hour and a half drawing random doodles across the page and getting absolutely nothing productive done. Well, that wasn't completely true. She'd started the sketch, been dissatisfied with it, and covered it with doodles. So there'd been some productivity in the beginning anyway, even if she had destroyed all the evidence that it had existed under a thick layer of pencil lead. Haylee set her sketchbook down next to her hip and sighed, stretching her legs out across the floor. This wasn't working.
Haylee looked at her mickey mouse watch, scratching her ankle with the opposite foot. It was still early. It felt like she had been in this library forever, but only a little more than two hours had passed. "That's it!" she said to herself, grabbing the sketchbook as she stood. "I need fresh air and sunlight. The library isn't working." She rubbed a kink out of her neck as she walked, glad for the break from being hunched. Walking to the grounds and finding a good place to stretch out and restart her attempts at recreating her parents' wedding photo would be just enough time for the soreness in her neck and upper back to leave for a while. As soon as Haylee stepped outside she was glad she had decided to leave the library for the outdoors. She loved the library, but the section she had been in had smelt like must, dust, and stale air. Outside it smelt like fresh air. Haylee looked around until she found a tree whose shade wasn't taken up by a gaggle of other students and then plopped herself down, stretched out on her stomach, and flipped open her notebook. Perhaps it wasn't the best position for drawing, but it was only a rough sketch anyway, right? It didn't have to be anywhere near perfect yet, anyway.
