The freshmen of the Academy have a tough year ahead of them. In order to get the young adults used to their new schedules, the professors have a habit of swamping them with work to fill their study periods. However, unlike being in grade nine, you do not have to wait to begin your mastery, it starts almost immediately.

Now that they've adjusted to the college classes, the workload tapers off a tiny amount. This gives students a little more time to practice outside of classes with friends, as well as to just hang out in general. This is probably the most relaxed grade of the four college groups.

Once you've become a junior, you've probably started to branch off a little from the Academy's teachings, get into your own style. This is encouraged in your junior year, and so the study periods are less filled with written homework, and more filled with studying for physical tests.

There's almost no workload in the final year at the Academy. This year strongly encourages personal style and growth, and the students perfect their own handcrafted moves and techniques. Graduation can be accomplished by becoming fully attuned to your elemental alignment, and being able to bend your power to your will at any given time.
